In this session we will deal with the practical issues related to the making of glossaries and term banks. We will look at a wide variety of examples, such as TERMIUM, the English-French termbank of the Canadian government, and MULTITERM, a widely-used software package for terminology processing. We will also discuss Internet glossaries and term banks (see Section 6 of the bibliography).
Assignment: Compile a bilingual glossary entry for the terms economic growth and Wirtschaftswachstum. Use the following model (cf. article 12 in your reader for concrete examples):
